“I am extremely disappointed with the property and if I could have afforded it & could of got something else where I would of left immediately Upon arrival the first thing staring you in the face is all the broken garden furniture- so much so you can't sit on it!”

So you can't sit on decking. When you step through door floor is broken so you have a dip under door mat. Caravan had not been cleaned prior to our arrival I would presume as carpet was covered in bits, even old food under sofa! Kitchen floor def not mopped as has stains Sofa is covered in stains so much so I've put blankets over it as worried what I'm sat on. Dirty handprints all over windows and patio doors Mold on curtain in lounge Kettle was filthy and had bits all floating in!! Owner ...

Kitchen floor def not mopped as has stains Sofa is covered in stains so much so I've put blankets over it as worried what I'm sat on. Dirty handprints all over windows and patio doors Mold on curtain in lounge Kettle was filthy and had bits all floating in!! Owner did replace with a homebargains cheap alternative. Owner said cleaners were coming back on Sat morning but were a no show. Bathroom window only has one catch other is removed so makes security very weak. Only way you can open bedroom windows is to put a knife or scissors under catch (I saw this on another review). All need replacing. Shower is spurting water from pipe & I think won't last much longer. Kitchen plates - only 3 when caravan is supposed to be for 4. Only one oven tray which is filthy! When I lifted black bin out of kitchen bin there was rubbish all underneath so someone has put a new bin over rubbish! One single bed has huge stain on bedding (I have sent pic to owner) Towels all smelt damp so l went and bought a new one! As I doubt they are clean! Bath towels are more like large hand towels! No bath mat. To say I am extremely disappointed is an understatement! And am here on my birthday. Feel very let down by your property

About the location

CLEATOR MOOR

Whitehaven 4.1 miles; Cockermouth 16.7 miles; Bassenthwaite 21.4 miles.

Enjoying a peaceful position within the English county of Cumbria is Cleator Moor, a small town resting just a few miles away from Whitehaven and the coastline. The town plays host to a number of amenities, including a handful of pubs, shops and other small businesses, as well as a Mart Square, where there are three sculptures by Conrad Atkinson, a local artist of international repute. Here, you will also find part of the West Cumbria Cycle Network, which form a portion of the C2C Cycle Route, from Whitehaven to Sunderland. Those with two-wheels can look forward to meandering along the route of the old Whitehaven, Cleator and Egremont and Rowrah and Kelton Fell Railways, which were once very active in the 1850s. The port town of Whitehaven is nearby and rests on the west coast of Cumbria, where you will find a larger selection of amenities, as well as a golf course, The Beacon Museum and the attraction of The Rum Story & Jefferson' Shop. During the summer months, be sure to spend time on the local beaches of Providence Bay Beach, Tanyard Bay Beach and Fleswick Bay or head to the Lake District National Park to uncover some great walking opportunities and other outdoor adventure. Cleator Moor is a delightful town for exploring further afield.
