“Pottergill is a beautifully finished property but has a cleaning issue that needs to be resolved.”

On our arrival it wasn't cleaned ready for change over. We had to make our own beds and had no response from the emergency number. We had to lodge a complaint the next morning and they sent a cleaner that in our opinion made it worse. They broke the bedroom stool. They left the garden furniture in disarray and they failed to clean the oven and bathrooms to an acceptable standard. I asked for £200 compensation/refund which I thought was reasonable. The owner declined and I'm now having to dispute through my credit card which is using up my valued time and I will now be requesting more for the inconvenience. The property itself is located in a perfect location and finished to a very high standard and has everything that is listed. It just isn't clean and unless the owner resolves this problem for the future I would avoid booking this property until it states this issue has been resolved.
