“The private patio is separate to the property, not attached.”

    This should be made clear.

This should be made clear. Would have been nice for it to have been gated so we could take the dog off its lead. The parking for the property needs to be more clearly marked. We didn't see it at first as someone else parked in it! A visitors/property info book/local info book would have been nice, eg only found the hair dryer on the last day.

The property

Originally a bobbin mill, this enchanting self-catering barn conversion is now part of Ings Mill Park; a beautifully landscaped area of holiday homes within 5 acres of woodland and riverside tranquility. The cottage is slightly elevated giving views over the valley, and inside blends countryside charm with flashes of contemporary interior design. Only a 2 minute stroll away is the hamlet of Ings, where you'll find the award-winning Watermill Inn and microbrewery - what a local! You're also only seconds from the A591, meaning your day-trips throughout the Lake District will be simple and stress-free. == Accommodation in detail Open plan lounge / dining room with luxurious furnishings and a picture window. Stylish modern kitchen is also part of the open-plan living area, and well-equipped for sociable cooking. Modern bathroom on the ground floor with shower over bath. Upstairs to the two double bedrooms, plus 2nd WC and cloakroom. Private patio outside the property. Location Ings is a small hamlet near Staveley, half way between Kendal and Windermere and scattered around the A591. The hamlet is only 2 miles away from Windermere village. The stretch of road is one of the country's most scenic, as well as providing easy access to the highlights of the Lake District. Nearby Staveley is the gateway to the Kentmere Valley, with a thriving community of walkers and cyclists as well as a second local brewery to enjoy. Walking routes in the Kentmere Valley are well worth exploring. Shops, facilities, cafes and restaurants are close at hand in Windermere village, and only a few miles further you'll find Bowness and the shores of Lake Windermere.
