We had major problems with the internet for the duration of our stay which included no internet for a full day, the owner was not interested, did not come to have a look at the box once and didn’t check in to see if the issue was resolved which it was not.
Whilst the pictures looked nice, i felt it was false advertising, I would not stay here again or recommend it to anyone.
The cottage is a converted barn with very high vaulted ceilings and beams, the cleaners do a fantastic job on changeover day preparing the property for incoming guests, it is impossible to do a deep clean on high beams on changeover days but they do dust over them with an extended duster. It is a fact that a cobweb can reappear after just 20 minutes.
I do not accept that there were dead spiders in the property prior to the guest checking in as I personally check the cottages myself, I also met with the guests who I showed around the cottage and were more than happy with the way the cottage was presented.
The base of the parasol is plastic which is made heavier by adding water to the base, the previous guests used the parasol every day without any issues.
I am astonished to read that I have been accused of not being interested, I first received a Whatsapp message from the guest at 19.50 on Sunday evening to ask if there was an issue with the internet, I checked my internet and the other cottages and everything was working fine, I replied to the guest 20 minutes later advising her to try rebooting the system, I told her where the key was to the cupboard where the router was. She replied telling me that that had worked and thanked me. I have gone back into my whatsapp messages to her whereby I have responded to each message she has sent and she has deleted them all. I even contacted our Providers to ask if they could see any issues remotely, which they couldn't so I therefore asked for a call out, all of this was relayed to the guest.
