“We had a lovely stay at Hazelrigg Cottage and stayed for a couple of nights.”
There were three adults in our group, and the cottage was a great size for us. It had two lovely, spacious double bedrooms and two bathrooms, so there was plenty of room.

There were just a couple of minor issues. Unfortunately, the dishwasher wasn’t working and displayed a “water flow stop” error, which meant it sounded as though it was constantly running. We eventually found the switch near the kettle and were able to turn it off. Both toilet seats were also loose and just need tightening.
The nearest shop is the garage on the main road, a couple of miles away, so if you’re arriving late, I’d recommend bringing everything you need with you to see you through until the next day.
Overall, we really enjoyed our stay and would definitely return, particularly for an adults-only break. However, I probably wouldn’t bring a young child, as there isn’t really an outside area for them to play safely. There’s no gate and the outside space is mainly a stone driveway.
Despite the few minor issues, we had a lovely stay and would happily come back.
