Just a short walk from the centre of Windermere Village, Silver Birches is a beautifully presented, contemporary bungalow, with beautiful garden, summer house and hot tub making it a superb choice for those looking to holiday with friends or family. All laid out on the ground floor, Silver Birches comprises of a spacious lounge / dining area, a well equipped kitchen, three bedrooms including one with a luxurious ensuite shower room and a family bathroom. The largest bedroom, The Garden Room, can be presented as either a superking or twin bedded room giving the property the extra flexibility to offer great accommodation all year round. Silver Birches is ideally situated on the edge of Windermere Village, with all the local amenities, shops and a great selection of bars and restaurants just a few minutes' walk from the cottage but also offering easy access to the central Lake District making the ideal base for touring and exploring. Whether it by walking, mountain biking, climbing, sailing or canoeing, all are within easy reach of Silver Birches, along with the huge wealth of cultural attractions the Lake District has to offer. == Accommodation in detail Set on a corner plot, on a quiet cul-de-sac and standing in a garden that regularly wins Windermere In Bloom awards, Silver Birches is approached along a short driveway. Two steps lead up to the front door opens to an inner hallway with boot racks and coat hanging. The open plan lounge/dinner is a great social space with comfortable sofas arranged around the coffee table, large screen TV and gas fire. The family dining place is the ideal place to relax over dinner with friends and patio doors open from here to the patio and garden. The well-appointed kitchen is well planned with five ring gas hob, electric double oven, dishwasher, microwave and American style larder fridge / freezer with ice machine. The utility room is home to the laundry facilities; a washing machine and tumble drier. The handy cloakroom provides an additional WC.
