    “We were a bit disappointed with how things were when we arrived.”

    Unfortunately, the property didn’t feel as clean or well-prepared as we’d expected. The floors were visibly dirty, we vacuumed, some of the bedding had hair and fluff that we had to remove with a lint roller. The cottage was also full of spiderwebs. One of the bathroom radiators wasn’t working, which wasn’t ideal for this time of year. There were also a few maintenance issues, like ripped cushions and some missing floor tiles, which affected the overall comfort and feel of the ...

    Unfortunately, the property didn’t feel as clean or well-prepared as we’d expected. One of the bathroom radiators wasn’t working, which wasn’t ideal for this time of year. There were also a few maintenance issues, like ripped cushions and some missing floor tiles, which affected the overall comfort and feel of the place. We also struggled a little with the lack of basic information and supplies. There weren’t any instructions for the appliances, which made them tricky to use, and items like the lighters (with no fuel) and the torch (with no batteries) weren’t actually usable. And a lack of handwash. Overall, the property just didn’t feel up to the standard we were expecting, and it did take away from our stay.
