The property

FROM 19th APRIL 2022 - FIELDSIDE LODGE WILL ACCEPT 1 SMALL DOG. At the White Cross Bay Holiday Park in Windermere, Cumbria, sits Fieldside Lodge, a lovely two-bedroom lodge. Fieldside Lodge is a wonderful lodging option for couples or a family of four who are eager to explore the Lake District National Park. The kitchen within the open-plan living area includes everything you need to prepare delectable meals, which you can then serve to family and friends at the table for four or alfresco on the sheltered balcony as you dine and discuss plans for the days ahead. Sit back and unwind in front of your preferred show on the Smart TV after a satisfying supper. After rinsing off in the walk-in shower, relax in one of the two well-presented bedrooms, a double and a bunk with a single bed, both perfect for catching your rest in ahead of a day of exploring. In the morning, make use of the on-site amenities, whether it's a plunge in the pool, followed by a steam in the sauna, an unwind in the jacuzzi, exercising in the gym, or playing a game on the outdoor sports court. Don't feel like cooking? Take your loved ones to The Boathouse Bar & Restaurant, where you may play pool or enjoy an ale in the beer garden. Outdoor enthusiasts will find much to do in the area, including treetop hikes in Ecclerigg, hiking paths, and the Lake Windermere, where canoeing, kayaking, and paddleboarding are just some of the activities offered. Those looking for something a little less strenuous can enjoy a leisurely cruise around the famous lake. Orrest Head and Queen Adelaide's Hill offer stunning views of the Langdale Pikes, while the World of Beatrix Potter Attraction and Windermere Jetty Museum are great places to learn about the area's history. Continue to Ambleside to see the ruins of a Roman fort from the 2nd-century and the 70-foot Stock Ghyll Force or go to Grasmere to see William Wordsworth's former home, now owned by the National Trust. Fieldside Lodge is the perfect choice for a memorable Lakes getaway.
