“The property is perfectly located in the town, with all the local amenities within walking distance.”

The 2 car parking facility is very convenient. The beds were comfortable and it was lovely to have our own bathrooms. The 2 car parking facility is very convenient. The beds were comfortable and it was lovely to have our own bathrooms. The cottage is on the bijou side and would not suit anyone who struggled with stairs or small spaces, but it was perfect for us. The hot tub was great, especially as it was still technically winter. The downside is that the furnishings are dated and all the linen looks a bit tired. There was a blood stain on the bed covering in Mrs Puddleducks room. The 2 living rooms could do with some foot stools perhaps. Also when we arrived the heating was not on and there were no instructions as to how to set it. We worked out how to use the thermostat, but then had to reset the boiler as the pressure was low. As we had given an eta, it would have been nice for the cottage to have been warm when we got there, especially as it was still winter. Also instructions a to how to use the thermostat would probably have been useful. Had we not been able to work it out, we would have called the out of hours number. However, it seems like an avoidable occurrence. All in all a pleasant stay.
