“Wysteria cottage is a fabulous property and we would definitely use it again.”
Its location is ideal. Just a few minutes walk from Windermere which has flourished over the last few years with some lovely bars and cafes, but cottage set just far enough back off road to make it very private and peaceful.
Cottage is beautifully furnished, our only comment is that in the winter months we thought that the one thing missing was a large rug of some description on the expanse of laminate floor in the lounge. It would have made that area so much more cozy on the dark autumn/winter nights.
Sykes Cottages made booking easy, and provided plenty of info at the property with contact numbers etc if we had any problems, which we didnt!
We have stayed in MANY cottages and apartments throughout the Lake District over many years, managed by various companies.
We can honestly say that this has been the best property we have stayed in by far, and having become disappointed with the property companies we have dealt with over the years would say that, although this is our first experience dealing with Sykes Cottages they appear to be a company you could rely on.
