Had an absolutely brilliant week. I live in a Victorian house and loved this one – the size, the décor, the location, which couldn’t be any more perfect. Well equipped with a super shower. Will be back soonMr and Mrs Murray

Biskey Steps was very homely and clean, master bedroom was spacey and lovely. Really nice pubs and restaurants locaaly, The Angel Inn (for sun), Porto (for very nice food). Check out the walk leaflets!! They were very informative – we used them all the time – Ullswater and Bowness areas especially. Thank you!David & Faye

Spent another week at Biskey Steps, Bowness on Windermere celebrating the New Year. Again a wonderful week in this cosy, home from home Victorian House. Ideally situated in Bowness, a short walk to all amenities – shops, cafés, restaurants & pubs. Can strongly recommend Fat Olives for a Mediterranean meal. Biskey Steps has all you need for a break away. Lakelovers out of hours emergency services responded to a call in good time with regards to a central heating problem on a cold cold night & had it resolved quickly. As it was a heating pressure problem – maybe this could of been prevented had the heating been checked prior to our arrival – this was our only fault. Will definitely be booking again, and would highly recommend.Mrs Jones
