Accommodation in detail
Adults, children over 10 years and babies up to 12 months old are welcome at Goody Raise. The property is not suitable for children outside of these age ranges. There is ample parking for 3 cars outside the property. Wander through the garden, passing the slate raised terrace, entering via the rear of Goody Raise. Entrance porch way with oak bench and access to a useful utility - (with washing machine and dryer plus large American fridge/freezer). Perfect for all the walking clobber and the like. This leads through to a downstairs WC and shower room, being the fourth facility for the property.
Enter the open plan living space, breathtaking inside and, of course, with fantastic views all round. This space is thoughtfully separated into living and dining areas plus a modern kitchen, equipped with everything you need for any gathering. There is a separate garden room for quiet moments, with bookshelves and desk and comfortable armchairs. Upstairs to the three sumptuous bedroom suites - two king size with luxurious en-suite facilities and a twin bedroom with nearby bathroom, all overlooking the magnificent scenery.

This exceptional Grasmere residence boasts some of the most spectacular Lake District scenery. It provides a peaceful retreat whether you wish to walk the Fairfield Horseshoe, photograph the spectacular waterfalls or simply escape from the crowds.
All the magic of a secluded rural Lake District holiday cottage, at the very heart of the Lakes and only a short walk away from the centre of Grasmere. Slightly north of Ambleside, Grasmere is a picturesque village next to a small lake of the same name. The spectacular area is hugely popular with walkers for its backdrop of tempting fells, with routes such as Helm Crag and Loughrigg Fell promising rewarding views over the lake below.
Grasmere is also famous for its connections with the poet William Wordsworth, who lived in the village at Dove Cottage (now open to the public as part of the Wordsworth Museum) and declared Grasmere as 'one of the loveliest spots that man has ever found'.
The inspirational nature of the place is further proven by a number of watercolour and artists' galleries in the village, including the Heaton Cooper Studio displaying the work of the talented Cooper family.
