A country lane winds up to Wythebank with private parking right outside, there are two entrances to this property but we shall lead you through the garden and patio area into the bright and airy dining area which is open to the well equipped kitchen; here there is a beautiful monsoon shower room and outside the kitchen is a useful utility / boot room. A corridor leads to what we call the snug, a cosy room to cuddle up on the relaxing sofas by the fire or even gather round the piano!
Then into the lounge, also displaying a warming woodburner, what a great room to spread out and relax in, admiring the views from the window seats. Upstairs to the three bedrooms with vaulted ceilings, one king size; one double and one super king size which can be separated into a twin room, so please say how you would like this arranging when booking. On this level is a bathroom with shower over a 'P' shaped bath.
Wythebank nestles between Little Langdale and Coniston, in a peaceful and secluded spot. There are a handful of traditional cottages here, as well as the awe inspiring Hodge Close Quarry. A self-catering cottage in Tilberthwaite makes a great base for walking in the Lake District. The property is surrounded by scenic strolls for all abilities, and there are many famous Lake District walking routes nearby including a path to Holme Fell starting via a gate straight from the gardens of your property. The Langdale Valley is overlooked by the famous Langdale Pikes and offers wonderfully scenic valley strolls. Coniston Water and the Coniston Old Man fell walk are also within easy reach. A holiday cottage in Little Langdale makes a magical retreat for walking in the Lake District, or simply soaking up the breathtaking scenery. Under the Lingmoor Fells, Little Langdale is approached via Blea Tarn on a winding road and Wythebank is approached by a narrow lane from the opposite direction.

It's only a few miles away and the perfect place to stock up the kitchen. A short stroll will take you from the village centre to Waterhead Pier.
