    “Wonderful location!”

Very cost little cottage with pretty much everything you could ever want (except a bath maybe)! The knives could do with a bit of a sharpen would be my only feedback!

The double bedrooms are both a treat; one with inspiring mountain views and one with a pretty dressing room - complete with an extra children's bed. == Accommodation in detail Private parking for 1 car. The modern kitchen / dining room is well-equipped for daily meals, with a door leading outside and providing direct access to the fell behind. The wet room room is also on this level. Up some narrow stairs to the two double bedrooms; one has particularly fine views over the valley and the other is complete with a dressing room, which has an extra bed suitable for a child. Outside you'll find a shared outside area, perfect for morning coffee or sunset drinks. Location Chapel Stile is a small village in the picturesque Langdale Valley, just 4 miles from Ambleside yet immersed in peaceful, untouched landscapes. LANGDALE

Often referred to as Great Langdale, to distinguish it from nearby Little Langdale, Langdale's name comes from the Old Norse for 'long valley'. Langdale is a u-shaped valley formed by glaciers. It encompasses the two villages of Chapel Stile and Elterwater, as well as the hamlet of High Close. Set in the centre of the Lake District, Langdale is probably best known for its mountains, from the Langdale Pikes – a group of mountains on the northern side of the village – to England’s highest mountain, Scafell Pike. Rock climbers will also love Raven Crag, Gimmer Crag and White Ghyll. There Not surprisingly Langdale is also famous for it’s spectacular views, including Dungeon Ghyll Force Waterfall, Harrison Stickle and Pike of Stickle. it is an extremely popular holiday destination and loved by hikers, climbers, fell runners and lovers of the outdoors in general.
