From here, a further four miles north and you’ll find yourself amidst stunning Wordsworth territory. Explore the Vale of Grasmere, where you must try the legendary Grasmere Gingerbread. Beatrix Potter country of Hawkshead, Near Sawrey and Coniston are a short drive away, south along the A593.
