Accommodation in detail
Surprise View is located on the pedestrianised market square in the centre of Keswick and is accessed either on foot from the market square or by car from the rear of the property. Access is through the entrance of the popular Pillar Café , up the side stairs and through the front door of the property and a further flight of stairs lead to the accommodation. No matter the time of year, on arrival guests are immediately drawn to the conservatory and step through the French doors to the roof top balcony that offers spectacular views across the town to the Western fells beyond! Stepping back inside there is a well equipped kitchen with electric hob and oven, fridge freezer, washing machine and family dining table and this opens to the conservatory with comfortable seating and French doors leading to the balcony complete with outdoor dining table making it just the spot to relax with a drink or a meal on a summers evening.
A final few steps and you are on the top floor so you can be assured of a great view from every window! The lounge is well furnished with relaxing sofa and armchairs arranged around the window, Smart TV and wall mounted electric fire. Choose from either of the two bedrooms both of which can be made up either with a king size bed or twin beds (please specify when booking) and one of which has a handy ensuite shower room. The bedrooms are complemented by a family bathroom with bathe with shower over, basin and WC.
A private parking space is available for one car. Guests are reminded that this property is located in the town centre and the property may not be suitable for everyone due to the number of stairs to access the property.

This friendly town hosts the very popular twice weekly market that has recently won the coveted 'Best Outdoor Market' in the Great British Market Awards. The village also offers a fantastic array of shops offering everything from craft bakeries and local produce, antiques, crafts and much, much more.
