Accommodation in detail
A parking permit is provided to either park outside your cottage or very close by. A useful entrance porch leading into the two separate living rooms; both living rooms are sumptuously furnished and designed for total relaxation. The kitchen is modern and fresh with all you need and with access to the rear patio / yard. There is a ground floor cloakroom with 2nd WC / wash basin in an outhouse which is ideal for secure bicycle storage too. Upstairs to the beautiful master king size bedroom and a twin bedroom together with the modern bathroom with monsoon shower facility over the bath.

A Bowness holiday cottage provides an ideal base for a holiday in the Lake District, whether you're looking to explore the whole region or simply enjoy the attractions surrounding Lake Windermere. Bowness village sits on the eastern shores of Lake Windermere. Access to the lake is only a few minutes' stroll from the village centre, at Bowness Bay, where hire boats come and go and Windermere Lake Cruises depart regularly to both Ambleside and Lakeside. A great way to explore without driving!
Family attractions in Bowness include the award-winning World of Beatrix Potter attraction - a favourite with the kids. You'll also find mini golf and tennis off the lake shore, and Windermere Golf Club just a few minutes' drive out of the village. There are a wide range of cafes and restaurants in Bowness, to suit all tastes and budgets. From top quality Fish & Chips to fine dining at the Postillon Restaurant, there's something to please everyone. Bowness also has a mainstream cinema, and the Old Laundry Theatre offers an interesting programme of performances.
