Keswick Town

When wandering around Keswick you’ll find a vibrant market town with lots of eating and activity choices right on your door step. Catbells is a favourite hill to bag in the area and getting onto Derwentwater with Keswick Launch is a must. For history buffs there’s Castlerigg Stone Circle and both Fitz Park and the large space of Crow Park are popular with families. Make sure you find the recently added UNESCO World Heritage Site plaque at Crow Park.

This award-winning attraction hosts an enlightened programme of entertainment throughout the year and Morrels Restaurant makes an ideal ore-theatre dinning option.

For eating in, you are in luck too as Keswick has an award-winning outdoor market, where you can get tips and recipe ideas from local producers and grab some wine to complement your home cooked meal at the excellent Booths Keswick supermarket too.
