We know that pets are not for everybody and perhaps you’d like to book a pet-free holiday cottage. Whilst the Lake District is a very dog-friendly holiday, there are many benefits to considering a dog-free break.
If you are a pet owner, a break from poop picking up and plodding walks, sniffing every rock and tree stump, is appealing. Enjoy a leisurely walk around the boutique Bowness shops or a farmer’s market at your own pace.
A pet-free holiday can also be the perfect chance to take on those big walking challenges that little legs could perhaps not manage – Scafell or Helvellyn?
